Cooper is crying

Post by rosebaby3892 »

23 years well spent, then.

Still, this reminds Cooper that while they can't send messages anymore, they can still receive them. So he runs to the ship's video room where his Orange answering machine informs him that he has "  23 years of new messages ." I already sigh when I have three, how brave is this Cooper. In short, he essentially sees Tom sending him videos to say that he finished high school, then that he met a certain Jeannine, that he caught half a dozen venereal diseases, then met Lois who is "the one" since he had a son named Jesse in homage to the idiot character from   Breaking Bad , then that Grandpa Cooper died of old age, then that Jesse died of illness... in short, on industry email list Earth, his family is getting old and things are not going well. But it's Tom, so once again: nobody cares. Even though there, Cooper sheds a tear, especially since Tom ends up sending a final video saying that since he hasn't heard from his father for so long, he thinks he's dead. He did have a second son, whom he named Cooper in memory of him.

he's thought to be dead! His children are growing old without him!

I'm crying too: am I the only one who remembers that Cooper is the hero's last name? Did someone just name their son Cooper Cooper? Seriously, what the hell happened to the characters? Wasn't the crappy plot enough on its own?

There's also a message from Murphy! She's grown up too, and is now a woman who was the same age as her father when he left (the film is number 1 in the Inceste.be internet ranking). So she sends him a message that could be summed up as "  Big bastard, you never came back, I hate you. " But since she hates her father, his mission that sent him far away and everything, what will she do for a career? Well, she's going to become a scientist at NASA's secret center and work as Professor Brand's right-hand man (the doctor's dad, I remind you) to try to help him solve his equation to allow a ship to rise and take humans away from the now hostile Earth.

Oh well, yes.

No, but the characters! Let me just scream a little bit and we'll go back:

But… AAAAAH!

That's done.

Well, let's continue with the nonsense because the further it goes, the worse it gets.

So our heroes gather to decide which planet to explore next. The one with Dr. Bob, who's no longer responding, or the one with the heroic Dr. Mann, who's sending loads of data showing that his planet is having a great time? Dr. Brand suggests going to Bob's. Cooper goes to Mann's. Dr. Noir suggests a vote, so Cooper looks at Brand and says, full of reproach: "  He has the right to know ."
