Google unveiled its answer to GPT-4 – the Gemini language model

Post by takiya »

Today, Google announced the launch of Gemini, Google’s most powerful model yet, with advanced multimodal thinking capabilities. Built for flexibility, Gemini is optimized for three distinct configurations—Ultra, Pro, and Nano—so it can run anywhere, from data centers to mobile devices.

Gemini is now coming to Bard in its biggest update yet. And early next year, Bard Advanced will be available, providing first access to the most advanced models and capabilities, starting with Gemini Ultra.

And we’re already seeing great results: in blind assessments by third-party evaluators, Bard is now the most popular free chatbot compared to leading alternatives.
