In our workspace, it is common to have many electronic devices. When these increase, it is advisable to ask yourself if the contracted power will be sufficient to guarantee that the power will not go out and disrupt your work routine.
If you share a space and there are more and more workers, it would also be an indicator that power must be taken into account. Each individual has a computer, a mobile phone that needs to be charged, printers...
On the other hand, if there are few devices in your office or the workforce has been reduced, you could request less Kw and thus reduce the amount of the bill and also contribute to saving this unconsumed energy for the planet.
So how do I know what my power is?
To find out how much power you have, you can access the canadian cto cio email list Customer Area on the Naturgy website, where the number of kilowatts you have currently contracted will be listed.
Another way to check it is by accessing the Naturgy Customers mobile application and selecting the Invoices section . This information also appears on the physical invoice, in the Contract details section.

Lower the power
Now that you know your contracted power, you can lower it if you feel that you are not reaching that maximum consumption . If the number of workers has been reduced or there are fewer electronic devices, it would be a good time to consider a reduction. If you have never had the power cut, it is because you have never reached the maximum number of kilowatts contracted.
Although it could be that you are close to consuming them, it never hurts to analyse your consumption , we will explain how later.
From June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022, you will be able to lower or increase the power without cost on an exceptional basis, so that customers can adapt to the new tariff structure. To manage the power reduction, you can do so by accessing the customer area of the website , going to a Naturgy store or calling our free phone number 900 100 251 .
How to increase the contracted power?
If you have ever reached the maximum consumption contracted , you are thinking of adding new devices or increasing the workforce, you may need a power increase.
If you decide to take this step, the procedure is the same as for requesting a decrease: you can call, go to a physical store or do the process online.
Keep in mind that you can increase the electrical power and end up not consuming as much electricity as you had imagined. You will have managed an increase for nothing and you will pay more for your electricity bill. So before starting this process, it is a good idea to calculate how much electrical power you need; we give you the instructions below.
A good exercise can be to put into operation all the appliances and electronic devices that you plan to have operational, so you will see the “full performance” of your power, and whether or not the fuses blow.
