In the end it all depends on you.

Post by Blessing »

It all depends on how much we want to give and how willing we are to commit. All these inspiring examples teach us that now more than ever, there is always a way to collaborate.

Even more so now that everything is needed.

Our contribution is more valuable than we can believe and we have to deliver it in the fields in which we are experts or can have a positive impact. It is all about staying proactive and focused on contributing.

What will help be needed with?:
We have tough years ahead, in the recovery, construction and revitalization phases we will need:

Auditors
Law promoters
Planners
Project Managers
Experts in the territory
Entrepreneurship experts
Engineers of all kinds
Artists
Marketing and communication experts.
Business developers.

Everything we do is necessary and we need to start planning and paving the job function or professional person and industry email list way for what is coming, but the worst thing we can do is try to do it alone. We need to unite and collaborate because only in this way will we achieve the impact of the magnitude that is needed. This brings a new series of problems that we must be aware of.

The volunteering process is complex, chaotic
In massive volunteering processes, hundreds of people share the same objective and coordination can be slow and complex.

Many times things are not done as expected or simply not done at all (those are the ones that need us).

We need a balance that allows us to give our all on a professional level, without falling into nervous breakdowns due to the demands or speed that would be required in the usual work team.

We need to focus on getting things done rather than on the way of doing them.
We need to execute more than coordinate.
Do more than be there.

And for this it is necessary to have an open mind and be willing to give in.
There are only 3 options in volunteering:
Go on
Lead
Get out of the way

In these situations, people who take notes of what is or was done wrong are not useful, the only thing that helps are agile solutions and execution.

So if you can and the team needs it, lead, find the most interesting and inspiring path for everyone. If not, follow, do everything you can in your workspace. If you can't do either of the 2, get out of the way, don't block anyone's vision.
Coordination should have the time it deserves and no more
If we cannot fall into the temptation of turning our activity into a popularity contest,

there is no reason to be the person:
More involved in all the discussions.
Who responds first and most quickly to any concern.
Unless that is the role of being the team leader at a key moment or serving, guiding and following up.
We need to deliver results and to do that we need to limit interaction and coordination to what is necessary.

In collaborative groups, you can receive more than 1000 messages in 1 day (you have no idea how active volunteer teams are).

Let's focus on our work and coordinate only what is necessary. This has nothing to do with popularity, but with helping.

We are here to give and deliver. We don't need recognition or for anyone to praise everything we do. Let's focus on delivering. (But, if it is relevant to recognize someone, it will be super good, as long as we don't expect anything in return.)

Today many hands are needed in various activities:
Project management and direction, execution must be controlled.
Coordination (as an activity): Every day a new platform is born and the unifying factor is needed.
Hands to apply, d
