Post by Abdur9 »

We're back with the latest news. And what shook the digital world was Mark Zuckerberg's open letter, announcing what everyone was already speculating: the merger of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram messaging . Yes, that's right, the giant just keeps growing! Find out all about the news below.

A little Facebook slip
2018 was not a good year for the world's most popular social network. Here are some of the difficult moments Zuckerberg experienced:

the Cambridge Analytica scandal came to light;
stocks fell sharply;
50 million accounts were hacked;
Instagram founders have left the company;
and Mark had to answer to the US Senate, the UK kuwait email list 356423 contact leads Parliament and the European Parliament about privacy on Facebook.
The year of unification
“In this letter, I will outline our vision and principles around building a privacy-focused social media and messaging platform.”

So, to start 2019 in full swing, the fifteen-year-old network decided to enter the adult world and leave its life so exposed to the public in the past. From there came this new form of expansion that bears the title: “A vision focused on privacy for social networks . ”

Check out the main points raised by Facebook's CEO regarding this apparent new stage of information security on networks.

The image that allows us to visualize the main aspect of this change is very interesting: instead of being in a town square, we will be able to interact as if we were in our living room with friends.

Security
This part of the letter is more of a philosophical principle, basically a mea culpa in which Zuckerberg declares that users have the right to expect Facebook to do everything possible to ensure the security of their data.
