Both terms may sound similar, but they are two sides of the buy special number list same coin. As mentioned earlier, brand awareness is what your audience knows about your existence in the market, while brand recognition is how well they can identify your brand.
When walking down the street, if your customers can identify your brand by looking at the color or logo, it is called brand recognition. So, brand recognition is the next step after brand awareness.
Brand awareness, as we have already discussed, introduces your brand to your audience. Here, your audience knows that you exist. They may not consider buying your products, but you may be the first choice when they make a purchase decision. Brand awareness is the foundation of all marketing strategies, without which your audience will not be able to know what you offer.
Brand recognition, on the other hand, refers to the ability of your customers to recognize your brand based on some of the brand components. This includes logos, colors, jingles, or even product packaging. It is basically about creating a visual or audio impact that immediately draws your audience’s attention to your brand when they see it or hear it.
For example, whenever you see a color or logo of Coca-Cola , you will immediately identify it, even if you are not a fan. You should be able to create such an impression among people by developing effective strategies to increase brand awareness.
It is important to note that while brand awareness and brand recognition are different, they are also related to each other. Increasing brand awareness through effective marketing and advertising strategies can help you increase brand recognition over time. And by creating a strong visual presence and consistent messaging, you can increase overall brand recognition.
It's simple - When they realize, then they can recognize you!
