Hastee, with clients such as McDonald's, Iberostar and Unilever, reaches profitabilityreached profitability. This marks an important milestone in its mission to offer employees more flexibility and control over their finances. The achievement comes at a time when more companies are offering this option as an essential benefit to attract and retain talent.

Hastee, which was created with the aim of improving the financial stability of workers, has grown rapidly since its launch. It currently has more than 350 client companies in various sectors. Its clients include major international brands such as McDonald's, Domino's, Iberostar, Taco Bell, MediaMarkt, DIA, Sanitas, Unilever, PayPal, Iberia Express and EY.

Hastee operates in 4 of the top 5 European markets for on-demand pay access : the United Kingdom, Spain, Ireland and Portugal. In 2020, it acquired Typs, one of the leading financial wellness platforms in Southern Europe, allowing it to expand its platform, which is now multi-country, multi-currency and multi-lingual, thus consolidating its international presence. Hastee is majority- owned by IDC, an investment firm with €2.1 billion in assets under management, through its innovation arm, IDC Ventures.

The solutions offered by Hastee
Hastee’s solution is built on three pillars: earn, learn and grow. With the Hastee app, employees can review how much they have earned, access their salary in a flexible way (cash out a portion when they need it, change their pay cycle to weekly instead of monthly…), receive financial education in bite-sized chunks and save directly from their salary . The app is very popular and has a 4.7 rating on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

“We are very proud to be one of the first on-demand wage providers to become profitable,” said Jaime Jimenez, CEO of Hastee . “The rapid growth of our customer base, coupled with a careful focus on expenses, has paid off – we have built a sustainable business that does not need further external funding.”

Alejandro Rodriguez, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at IDC Ventures, commented: “We are delighted to support Hastee at this crucial moment. Their focus on financial wellbeing is fully aligned with our mission of supporting businesses that create a positive impact. We are excited to be part of this journey, offering value to both users and our partners. This success demonstrates the strength of Hastee’s model and the growing importance of solutions that empower people to improve their financial health.”
