Last Sunday, May 6, the big fashion event was held in New York City: the MET Gala 2024 and, like every year, the event left great looks to remember. Some of the celebrities who stood out the most with their looks were Jennifer Lopez , one of the hosts of the night, the actress Zendaya or the supermodels Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. However, social networks also highlighted other "impressive" outfits such as Katy Perry 's , and it was truly a look that surprised viewers because it was nothing more and nothing less than an outfit created entirely by artificial intelligence.

However, Katy Perry did not even attend the soiree on the evening of May 6. As Katy herself announced on her social media, the singer was unable to attend the MET because she was working.

Meanwhile, people continued to comment on the two looks that the singer supposedly wore. One benin whatsapp lead was a dress with a giant skirt full of flowers in keeping with the theme of the year. And the other showed the artist wearing a kind of corset and a jungle-style floral skirt.

Katy Perry posted on her Instagram profile her two alleged looks and a conversation with her mother in which she warned her to be careful of what was published on social media, since they were images created with artificial intelligence.

Rihanna, another victim of AI
Katy Perry wasn't the only artist who couldn't attend the Met Gala, and Rihanna was also absent. Like the "Roar" singer, social media led people to believe that Rihanna had posed on the carpet with a stunning look, however, these were images created entirely with AI.

In them, the singer was seen wearing a circular-shaped dress with a floral print that went very well with the theme of the night and although, like every year, Rihanna usually stands out on this great night for fashion thanks to her unforgettable looks, this time the singer could not attend.

Both cases confirm once again the great capacity of artificial intelligence to create completely credible content, demonstrating the power of this new tool and making clear the need to regulate the content created with it to combat the overwhelming misinformation that is presented daily, especially on social networks.
