At the end of April 2018, the government adopted a long-awaited resolution regulating the storage periods of the contents of conversations of messages under the Yarovaya Law. Telephone conversations from July 1 of this year must be stored for six months, data transmission traffic - from October 1, 2018. Formally, the storage period for data traffic is also six months, but the provider will have to allocate for this the capacity necessary to store the data traffic of its subscribers for a period of one month before the date when the provider hands over its traffic storage solution to the FSB.
