1. Online survey/feedback tool
This will help you find out the purpose of your website visitors. This will give you input for setting up an A/B test. For example: do visitors understand your products/services on the homepage? Qualaroo is a very suitable tool to use for this.
2. Five second test
You can also let 10-15 users look at your homepage for 5 seconds. This is a very simple way to get feedback from your users. You can learn the following things through such a test:
Does the user even understand what your website is about?
Can the user indicate who the website is made for?
Can the user indicate which goal(s) you can achieve via your website? VerifyApp is a very suitable tool to use for this.
3. Remote user test
You can also have a remote usability test performed to get test ideas for your A/B test. Within this test, you give respondents a few tasks. For example: you are looking for a Google Analytics training, which trains you to become a 'qualified individual'. This may not cost more than 395 euros. Go through the steps for this and indicate what you like and dislike about this website. You can watch this feedback afterwards in a video clip.
The user's first impression. Does the user iceland phone data understand what you can do on your website?
The user's information needs. What information does the user need to achieve his goal?
The user drop-off moments on your site. At which input fields does the user lose track?

Formulate a substantiated test hypothesis
You can use these 3 usability tools to get input for setting up an A/B test. Then comes the most important part: drawing up the test hypothesis. What should it meet?
This should solve the conversion problem.
This should provide marketing insights so that you can also test these findings for other parts of the site.
You should be able to determine whether the test was successful or not.
When coming up with a test hypothesis, I turn a conversion problem into a conversion opportunity. In psychology, they call this 'conditioning'. For example: By communicating benefits for the visitor, >5% of visitors will click through to my pages about the beginners and advanced training.
