With a new professional voice cloning feature, voice actors can now upload an audio clip of their voice and get paid every time someone clones it to generate new audio.
While it is marketed to voice actors, anyone can get paid for it. But just because you can doesn't mean you should, because voice cloning can have scary consequences.
How ElevenLabs Professional Voice Cloning Feature Works

To start getting paid for your voice, you just need to follow a few steps:
Have an account with a "Creator" membership level or higher.
Download 30 minutes to 3 hours of audio recordings of your voice, without background music, noise or sound effects.
Name and describe your voice, including labels for accent region, gender, ethnicity, age, and pitch.
Control your voice while reading a text.
Submit your request for refinement, which may take up to 4 weeks as your voice needs to be trained by the model.
ElevenLabs emphasizes that it is not as important as the comment you read it. The model will focus on elements such as tone, intonation, and stress.
