Forced entrepreneurs . At this point, the percentage of entrepreneurs who do it out of necessity increases compared to other studies of the national ecosystem. Thus, from the Holded survey it turns out that 12% of entrepreneurs are so because they cannot find work and 11% are so out of necessity. Granada, La Coruña and Girona are the cities where “not finding the ideal job” has the highest percentages (32%, 25% and 23%).

Here the study also makes a difference in terms of gender, so that only 10 % of men respond that they start their own business because they cannot find the ideal job, compared to 16% of women and 21% of non-binary people or people who prefer not to say or label their gender.

What have they ended up doing?
The study also analyses what people who aspired to become entrepreneurs ended up doing. Eight percent ended up as civil servants; 17% opted to accept a job as an employee for private companies; 50% went so far as to set up their own business and 17% are currently looking for work.

Among those who have already stated that they russia phone data want to work in private companies, 22% are civil servants, 23% work in private companies, 32% have their own business and 14% are still looking for work. However, less than half of those surveyed say they are currently working in their desired position.

As for those who aspired to become civil servants, 62% have seen their aspirations fulfilled, while 10% are self-employed, 10% are salaried and another 10% are looking for work.

The generation gap seems to be a decisive factor in the business aspirations of Spanish men and women, since working as a civil servant is the first option for only 10% of those under 24 years of age, while that figure doubles (20%) for those over 55 years of age.
