If you sell products, you probably have product reviews . Maybe there are questions or comments that are being raised? Use this information for your content creation.
For example, for your zero waste products, it might be a question about recycling a bamboo toothbrush or using a powder as shampoo.
#2 for finding article ideas: stay alert!
To create content regularly, the first thing to do is to stay alert . First of all, on the news in your sector of activity.
If you sell eco-friendly zero waste products, keep an eye out for new products that may come out (this also gives you ideas for products to develop) but also for positive or negative news , depending on your editorial line , which you could talk about on the blog.
Don't hesitate to observe your direct competitors . What topics do they cover on their blog? What are their most popular articles?
Be careful, I'm not telling you to copy their articles on the subject word for word, but to use them as inspiration to find your own content ideas and your own angle of treatment based on your content strategy.
You can also join Facebook groups on your topic and see what topics come up often to get ideas and propose a case study on a particular product, a comparative article on the zero waste version and the traditional version or even a new article on a technique to save money by buying zero waste.

I also recommend that you look at the trends on TikTok on your favorite topic. You could well be ahead of your competitors and take places in Google positions on little searched keywords!
#3: Do a keyword study
Before you dive head first into writing articles, it is essential to do a keyword study . This is the best way to improve your SEO.
You will choose the queries most searched for by Internet users in your theme, that is to say having the highest search volume, to write relevant articles for your targets.
This also allows you to validate an article idea that you may have already had. If the search volume is low, it may not be relevant to write a whole article on the subject (perhaps a part and a few paragraphs in another blog post can suffice).

Search engines are also a good way to find new article ideas.
Use Google's related searches: at the bottom of the search results page, you will find related searches and this can give you other ideas for writing your article but also for a new article, just like the "other questions asked" box (for zero waste, we find related searches like "how to do zero waste" or "how to become a zero waste family")
Google and auto-complete: When you do a Google search, you will notice that suggestions appear before you have even finished typing your query. You can use this to combat writer's block! (For zero waste, auto-complete suggests "zero waste tips" or "zero waste definition")
YouTube and auto-completion: same principle with YouTube (for our example, we find “zero toilet paper waste” or even “zero kitchen waste”).

If you read English, I advise you to do some research in the language of Shakespeare directly on Google. This can help you keep watch and give you new ideas for writing content .
Keep an eye on American blogs in particular because everything that happens across the Atlantic in terms of content marketing, but not only (on almost all subjects), arrives here some time later.
#7: Read a book on your theme
If I have a severe lack of inspiration, I pick up a book on my theme and hey presto! Ideas flow!
Do as I did and you should have ideas for several articles.
And if this is not the case, you can also present the book in your theme, say what you got from it, what you liked and what you liked less...

#8 to not run out of article ideas: Use handy tools!
To help you, you can also use some handy online tools that can give you ideas for your blog posts:
Google Trends: It gives you the trend and predicts the future on a given keyword. It is very useful to validate a content idea, completely free and unlimited. Keep in mind that some keywords are seasonal!
Answer The Public: you enter a keyword and it gives you lots of questions related to how, who, why… So many questions that have been typed by Internet users (don't forget to select France and French). It's free but you are limited to 2 searches per day. Be sure to choose a broad keyword or you risk not getting any results. For zero waste, we don't get many results but it already gives ideas like "how to remove makeup zero waste", "how to go zero waste" or "what is zero waste"

#9: Think about the editorial calendar
Google likes regularity. So, I advise you to come up with your article ideas in advance and insert them into an editorial calendar so that you never run out of ideas.
You then get into the habit of writing a blog post regularly and you can add ideas as you go or change your schedule if you want to talk about a short-lived current topic.
