This month we wanted to feature a blog post about customer support. For the first time, the best SiteGround support representative of the month globally is an Italian girl. Valentina is one of the newest members of our lithuania mobile database customer support team. She joined SiteGround only five months ago, but has proven to be a quick learner. Valentina has quickly carved out a leading role in her new position, achieving an amazing 99.7% customer satisfaction and nearly 600 excellent chat ratings in the past month! You've been working as a customer support representative for a little over five months. Are there any negative stereotypes about customer support work?
Valentina : People usually imagine a nerdy technician who is always looking at the computer, not interested in talking to people and who solves problems automatically. This couldn't be further from the truth! We are the most diverse group of people I have ever worked with. We love talking to customers and having the satisfaction of helping them create their dream site. I think that's what makes SiteGround's customer support so special: wanting to put a human touch and empathy into every interaction.

What helps you most in your work?
Valentina : My colleagues! Whenever I have doubts, my colleagues and supervisors are always there for me and without their guidance I definitely wouldn't be here today. Even though the work is individual, it often also requires a great deal of teamwork and it's thanks to our fantastic team that everything works so well here!

What should you do to make a customer happy?
Valentina : This is an interesting question because it really depends on the customer! You have to understand people and what they are looking for! Some customers want their problem or question solved as quickly and concisely as possible, while others prefer to take their time and explain each step of the process in depth.

What tool do you find most useful for customers?
Valentina : Speed ​​Optimizer is the tool I always recommend! Having an optimized site is extremely important to achieve performance and speed and, thanks to this handy tool, you can get significant optimization in just a few clicks. It is an incredible tool that saves you time and at the same time is very easy to use. I use it for my personal site and I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite tools.

What advice would you give to people starting out with a website?
Valentina : Patience and practice! Working on a website is very daunting at first and can seem like an impossible task. But with a little patience and a lot of practice, you'll be surprised how easy and fun it actually is.

What do you love most about SiteGround?
Valentina : I would say the environment in general. The atmosphere is relaxed, everyone is super friendly and at the same time, every day is a new challenge. This is the kind of environment that motivates me to learn and give 100% every day.

What is your favorite site?
Valentina : I love cooking and everything related to food, so I always watch videos and read food blogs. One of my favorite sites is Bon Appétit , where I find lots of ideas for new recipes and they also have an amazing YouTube channel . Just looking at their site makes my mouth water!

Do you have a favorite quote or motto?
Valentina : “Everything happens for a reason and that reason is there to help me.”

I try to keep a positive attitude no matter what happens to me, so when something good happens to me, I embrace it and enjoy it. When something bad happens, I look at it as a learning opportunity to continue to grow and improve. I can't control everything that happens around me, but I can control how I react to what happens to me.
