What is Dropshipping?

Post by oariful1997 »

Dropshipping is selling products online without holding inventory.

When you receive an order, you send it to the supplier, who then ships the products directly to the customer. As a seller, you act as an intermediary between the customer and the product supplier.

This streamlined approach to order fulfillment means you can launch your e-commerce business without renting a warehouse, managing inventory, or juggling supply chains.

You can dropship from anywhere that allows you to do so.

Popular dropshipping suppliers and companies include AliExpress, Spocket, SaleHoo, US stockholder database Direct, Printify, and Alibaba. So, if you choose one of these sites, there's a good chance the seller isn't fulfilling orders themselves.

That said, you can technically dropship from retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. However, some stores like Target have strict eligibility requirements before you can dropship their products.
