Overall rankings
Rankings for my [motherhood] blog showed some improvement after [backlink] became active.
My average ranking moved from 75+ to 68.7 in less than a month.
Overall, given the limited amount of backlinks and inbound traffic I managed to score from HARO for these two websites, it wasn't too bad.
You can believe it!
I had a year of experimenting with HARO. Now I know what works and what doesn't (and so do chinese overseas europe database you, since you've read my case study this far—thank you so much!), and I can make a better plan for the new year.
Interview-based link building is still one of the link building methods I love the most. It's based on human relationships and sharing expertise with specific audiences, so it will continue to have its place among the strategies I use.
(Plus, it's fun!)
But in terms of effectiveness, HARO interviews are not the best method for acquiring backlinks. Other methods based on simple email outreach like link reclamation and suggestions for useful resources would probably give me results much faster.
