Economists predict a gradual increase in household amazon data consumption in 2025, supported by real wage growth and stable inflation. However, the retail sector still faces challenges and growth momentum is slowing.
In addition to the opinions of Lukáš Kovanda, chief economist at Trinity Bank, Raiffeisenbank analyst Vít Mikušek and KB economist Kevin Tran Nguyen on this issue, the opinion of Tomáš Čupr, director of PPC Profits, is also interesting: According to him, the growth in sales in November was due to the pre-Christmas atmosphere and discount events, including Black Friday. The growth of real wages and inflation under control led to people putting aside concerns about the economic situation and having the desire to spend. Household consumption thus became the main driver of cautious economic growth at the end of the year.
