While E2EE is highly effective for message content, it has limitations. It protects:

The actual substance of your communications: The words you type, the sounds of your voice calls, the visual content of your photos and videos.
It does NOT protect (and this is where data collection becomes relevant):

Metadata: Information about your communications, such as who you are spain phone number list messaging, when you are messaging, how often, the duration of calls, and so on.
Information about your account and device: Your phone number, profile name, IP address, device type, operating system, etc.
Interactions with businesses: .
Information you explicitly share for public consumption: Like your profile picture, "About" info, or content in public Channels.
