CasaFund was a real estate investment vehicle launched by CASAFARI, designed to show how to use Casafari data to obtain alpha returns in the real estate sector by capitalizing on undervalued SFR (single-family residential) properties strategically located in the main city center of Lisbon . These assets were converted from short-term to medium/long-term rentals. CasaFund's goal was to maximize returns for its investors by creating a crisis-proof long-term rental portfolio in Lisbon's most sought-after neighborhoods.

The idea attracted the interest of 30 private investors and family offices and was managed by CASAFARI's dedicated team of market experts, who handled all operational aspects of the project.

CasaFund’s approach combined deep market insight with data-driven decision-making to optimize the timing and terms of each acquisition, lease and sale.

Leveraging CASAFARI’s extensive market data, CasaFund accurately identified where CAPEX (upgrading assets through renovations) could add significant value with a positive ROI (return on investment), ensuring that the price and quality of the property was more attractive to both tenants and future buyers.

In addition to property valuations, CASAFARI’s Market Analysis tool played a key role, helping the team monitor market dynamics and make timely rent adjustments based on prevailing trends. This attentiveness to market movements enabled CasaFund to maintain optimal rental income and consistently increase the portfolio’s overall ROI.

In the Prazeres district, CasaFund invested in a spacious 120 m2, 3-bedroom apartment with extraordinary views. Purchased for €235,000 and renovated for €21,700, the attractiveness of this apartment attracted a great deal of buying interest, allowing it to be sold just seven months later for €350,000. This generated a gross profit of €85,000, allowing CasaFund investors to take advantage of market gains and reinvest the profits in new acquisitions.
