Blog for Pinterest quickly and easily
Blog and Pinterest, Pinterest and blog. One is so important to the other's existence that I can safely say that blogging is the foundation of your Pinterest marketing strategy. Yes, I know the idea of having to write articles can be a source of panic. Let's be honest.

Not all of us are good at writing, and sitting in front of a keyboard with a blank page wondering if what we are writing will be well received or useful to our community can be terrifying, and we cannot always delegate this task to third parties.

But because of the importance of the blog in the Pinterest marketing strategy, I decided to share with you my secrets to easily write a blog that supports your Pinterest strategy.

Blog for Pinterest
Why is it important to have a blog to succeed in your Pinterest Marketing strategy?
Whenever a new client comes to your site, one of the conditions I ask them to have is a blog. The main reason is none other than Pinterest's objective as a visual search engine: traffic. Bringing visitors to your website is Pinterest's job, those visitors are potential clients who will end up being, in the best of cases, completed sales. But where will your visitors go if you don't have a house to welcome them? You understand, right? Your blog is your reception area.

I understand that creating and maintaining a blog is not easy, especially because although it is an important part of our Pinterest marketing strategy and our brand, it is not the only activity we are dedicated to. So what can we do to create a blog for Pinterest and not die trying? I am not an expert writer. I often feel overwhelmed when it comes to creating the article of the week, however, I have managed to maintain the publication of my weekly articles. To achieve this, I have focused on following the following guidelines.

6 Strategies I Implement When Creating My Blog for Pinterest
1.- Know who you are writing for:
Whenever I write, I always have my ideal client in mind. This is the ABC of any marketing strategy. It is impossible to write without knowing who is going to read you. If you know what they are like and what they need, it will surely be easier for you to communicate your ideas, knowledge and emotions. Also, keep in mind that in the specific case of Pinterest, unlike other platforms where the user enters for leisure, there is already an intentionality from the start.

In other words, whoever uses the platform already has an intention: to complete a project, learn about a topic, solve a problem or get inspired. Try to keep your client in mind and what they need or are looking for. This will clarify the situation for you when you sit down to generate content.

2.- Pay attention to the keywords:
SEO. It's the basis. I confess that I'm not an expert on the subject yet, but whenever I write I ask myself the same question: what words should my article contain so that those who are overseas chinese database searching can find me? Keywords are very important when writing an article, and they should be in the link, in the title, in the meta description and throughout the article (without exaggerating, of course).

My advice is to make use of the tools and resources we have at hand. Study, look for information. It's not about becoming an expert, although that wouldn't be a bad idea either. It's about knowing the basic SEO guidelines and how to apply them. There is a lot of information on the Internet and it is just a click away.

3.- Write about what you know
You don't have to make things complicated. If you know your ideal client and you know what you can offer them, write about it. The advantage of Pinterest articles is that you don't need to write 15,000 words. It's true that a well-researched article is very valuable, but it can also take time. Write about topics that you know, tell your story, your successes and your failures. Share your fears and certainties and show what you know. I assure you that your community will receive it with love.

4.- Accompany it with beautiful images:
Come on! It's Pinterest! Visuals are king. Create beautiful images that support and accompany your article. Remember to respect the vertical format and the regulatory measurements, that is, a 2:3 ratio. If you don't know how to create beautiful pins that inspire your audience, I invite you to check out my article where I tell you all about it.

Important fact: activate the Pinterest save button. This action will allow your visitors to easily save your content. Don't forget the title and Alt description, this will help your images to be optimized when anyone saves them from your website.

5.- Call to action:
You can’t end your article without the respective CTA or call to action. Let’s review: Pinterest’s goal is to bring visitors to your website, your job is to make them fall in love and convert them into conversions. The call to action can be anything from downloading your lead magnet, going to another of your articles or signing up for your classes or consultations. Call to action directly and without shame: “download my resource, read my article, sign up for my class.” Believe me, most of us appreciate instructions.

6.- Replicate the content
Now that you have your article ready, get the most out of it. Did you know that you can create multiple pins from one article and Pinterest will be more than happy to do so? We call it mirroring content and this allows you to increase your reach, as well as feed the Pinterest algorithm by posting multiple pins a day, just the way it likes. Just by changing the images, titles and descriptions of your pins, you're done.

Having a blog can make the difference for your Pinterest marketing strategy to succeed, I'll tell you why
Having a blog for Pinterest doesn't have to be a headache
Bonus:
I recently had a live on Instagram with a dear friend about how using Pinterest and Instagram can be a winning marketing strategy. The conversation was so good that it ended up being the next week's article. Anything can become a topic for your blog. And, (this idea is not mine, but I'm sharing it with you anyway) if you create content in video format for YouTube or any other similar platform, you can even transcribe part of the content, add the video and you have an article ready.

There's no need to overwhelm yourself when writing your blog. Keep your posts short but substantial, accompanied by beautiful and useful images. I promise you that it will work very well on Pinterest. At the Pin Club we also study the blog part as part of the Pinterest strategy. Have you signed up yet? Go here and get on the waiting list
