What are the challenges of such an Observatory for schools?
Explanations from Adrienne Jablanczy, general director of ISEG.
“Confronting our projections regarding the developments in marketing and communication professions with professional circles, understanding the expectations of companies with regard to new generations of students, these are the major areas of reflection that ISEG must develop and integrate into the implementation of its programs.
This objective is at the origin of the creation in 2020 with our partner IPSOS of the Observatory of Marketing and Communication Professions. Since then, the transformations of our society, induced by the international health crisis and the new constraints and opportunities emerging in the professional worlds of digital, marketing and communication, have required us to repeat this approach on the threshold of the new year 2022.
The results of the barometer confirm our educational orientation choices made in recent years. Our approach focused on integrating the digital dimension into all of our teaching and activities, the implementation of real business projects in interdisciplinarity with students from other schools in the IONIS group – IT expertise school, EPITECH, Design school, E-ARTSUP – allows students to work and reveal their spirit of initiative and innovation, their creativity as well as their ability to evolve in a team.
For example, the “ Project Week ”, a Challenge which brings together over 1,000 students from the three schools for three weeks to reflect on and respond to the brief of a large company: NIKE in 2020, MUGLER in 2021, MEETIC in 2022.
Likewise, the Digital Days , AI week, Spring Code Camp… so many events that mark the educational curriculum of our students' 5 years and contribute to the acquisition of complementary skills and soft skills, in line with the wishes of professional circles.”
