In mid-August, numerous trainers met again for a training weekend at the Oberhaching Sports School.

On Friday, the two A-level trainer candidates T. Thiedemann and G. Benaburger gave a talk on the current topic: “Against sexualized violence in sport.”

On Saturday, sports teacher Marco Schmidt delivered a lecture on training principles in theory and practice. In the afternoon, Werner Buchs spoke about training methods for movement training and playing technique.
Yoga, as a useful complement to bowling, was taught to the participants by active bowling coach Selina Parzefall on Sunday at the end of the course.

At the exam in Brackenheim (September 16, 2017), all participants successfully photo editing services passed the B-Trainer exam, meaning the DKBC can now look forward to five new B-Trainers. The exam consisted of a one-hour training session with an athlete on the track and a presentation of a developed four-week training plan to prepare an athlete for the World Championships.

Women's Bundesliga : Katrin Barz was the woman of the hour on Sunday. The Lautern goalkeeper shone like clockwork (154, 166, 165, 166) and finished the match with 651 pins – a new personal best +++ Nora Sajermann also performed strongly with 622 pins against Bonndorf +++ The Bundesliga season was officially opened on Friday evening by DKBC Vice President Franz Schuhmacher in Liedolsheim.

Men's Bundesliga : Christian Rennert hit exactly the dream mark of 700 against Großbardorf, completing the dozen German players in the illustrious club +++ Sebastian Hartmann (Markranstädt) played a personal best – 691 pins +++ Philipp Vsetacka (Schwabsberg) also scored 681 and Jürgen Pointinger (now Zerbst) also scored 676 brilliantly +++ Lautern's Andreas Schöpe improved his own record to 668 pins.
