Is adding a business to Google Maps free?
Yes, creating your Google Business Profile is free, there are no fees associated with it. Later, you can manage it in the Google Business Profile panel, also for free.

So, what do you pay for? You can pay for Google Maps listing optimization, i.e. for Google Maps positioning and for Google Ads ads . However, this is an individual matter for each company.

Remember!

Having a business card in Google Business Profile does not require extending its display by paying a subscription fee. You do not have to pay for anything either when you set up the business card or in the years that you have it!

Do you run an online store? Do you have a store at a specific address? Or maybe you provide services with a drive-through? Choose the appropriate type of business - you can select two or three options. This is very important, because if you run an online store, you will be asked to provide the address of your company's website and store. If you run a local store, you will be asked for the address, and if you offer services with a drive-through, the system will ask you for the area of ​​operation.

STEP 3: Select the main category
Now you need to analyze the competition in search of the main phrase for the category. In this case, enter in the search engine the word you are interested in related to the service or product for which you want to be visible on the Internet, e.g. positioning pages + city, check the top 20 results and determine the frequency of each category.
