A job at the pace of life

Post by pappu888 »

Can you imagine a job organized more by tasks than by a time clock? A job in which, in addition to flexible hours , you also had spatial flexibility . Can you imagine a job that could be well combined with your daily life, your family and your free time? And that would cause you less of what is called the “burnout” syndrome or the burnt-out worker syndrome .

Refine your imagination even more and think of a job that president email lists promoted the diversity of its workers , as well as their autonomy . In the end, we are talking about making those things that seem like an impossible dream a little more material: such as, for example, achieving both your professional and personal goals.

You can imagine it, right? We can too.

That is why today we will talk about conciliation and diversity at work . And Naturgy has obtained a high rating for its management in these two aspects in compliance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (a topic to which we are committed and which we address in this other #GoodEnergies post). This has been highlighted by the Más Familia Foundation and the Bequal Foundation , promoters and certifiers of excellence in business management of conciliation and diversity.

Naturgy has more than 500 conciliation measures in force between the various countries in which it operates, as Paz González García, from the Conventional Generation Resources area, stressed at an event of the aforementioned certifying entities. González García spoke of “the real and sustainable commitment we have to conciliation, from a more comprehensive vision , not only referring to the working day or family care , but also from variables such as the quality of employment, well-being, equal opportunities and professional development , among others.”

What is conciliation?

According to the Fundación Más Familia, the conciliation of personal, family and work life is what a company does beyond the legislation to satisfy the needs and expectations of its workers as much as possible , without affecting its competitiveness and with the aim of “providing them with a more balanced life plan between personal and professional life, more fulfilling, and ultimately, with a better quality of life ”.

How does this translate into the workplace?

Continuing to rely on the Fundación Más Familia and the data on its website, we are talking about “good practices” such as :

Temporal and spatial flexibility ( the latter being very up to date lately with teleworking).
