Indra has launched the second edition of Ventures4Inclusion, its social entrepreneurship launchpad that supports technological projects that facilitate access to employment for people with disabilities.

Indra is promoting this initiative together with the Foundation for the Promotion of Development and Integration (FDI) and HandsOn Spain. Proposals can be submitted by both participants and non-profit organisations that work to promote the personal and professional development of these people and employ, or are going to employ, a person from this group in a new business.

The first call for Ventures4Inclusion, launched loan data in 2021, had as winners the projects of entrepreneurs Diana de Arias, Patricia Acebes and Ana Isabel Martín, as well as three organizations: the Prodis Foundation, Aspronaga and the Ande Foundation.

The national launch pad is open to innovative projects that are two years old or under construction at the most, and have as a common denominator the use of technology to facilitate the labour inclusion of people with disabilities. In fact, the proposals must aim to guarantee the employability of at least one person with a disability and use technology as a transformative tool in the development of the project and/or its implementation.

Individuals or entities wishing to participate must submit their applications through the website which includes the program's guidelines until the beginning of September 2022.

A jury of experts will select the three winning proposals per category, which will receive a cash prize of 5,000 euros for individuals and 8,000 euros for social entities, to develop their projects. To access these prizes, the people in charge of each winning project will participate in entrepreneurship training sessions with Indra volunteers. These sessions will seek to provide practical responses to foreseeable challenges in the development of each initiative.
