The spell check application on most word processing software programs would not catch a mistake in these two words. The spell checker looks for words that are not in its dictionary, and words that resemble words in its dictionary, but are possibly misspelled. The spell checker is not perfect. It does not know and cannot guess what word you meant, or what word you meant to say, it can only judge the words on the page. If you have used words that are spelled correctly, it gives you a pass anyway.
