Team Tuta is pleased to welcome seven new

Post by Aklima@42 »

like just last week that we announced the addition of three new members to the team (it was actually this August). And now we are thrilled to welcome another seven privacy enthusiasts, making our team 39 strong – and we are sure to reach 40 by the end of the year!

Tuta has accomplished great things in 2024, from launching post-quantum encryption for email , rebranding Tuta , launching an office in Munich , to launching the Tuta Calendar app - also on F-Droid - a lot has happened here at Tuta! All of these achievements and advancements are made possible by two things: The people who use Tuta, and our team (which continues to grow).

So while we would like to thank you for being a oil and gas email list loyal Tuta user, and contributing to our growth, we also invite you to give our new team members: Haroun, Julian, Martin, Amelie, Carsten, Henry, and Bijin a warm welcome!

Welcome to Haroun!
Personal presentation: The most common excuse for those who don't care about privacy is that they have nothing to hide. However, if you were to ask them if they would be okay with their mailman reading their letters, most would say no. In fact, opening someone else's mail is considered a crime in most countries, but somehow email providers scanning users' emails is considered normal. This is even stranger when you consider the power these giant corporations have compared to our not-so-powerful mailmen.

For me, privacy is not just about keeping our personal lives away from prying eyes, but rather about protecting our right to freedom of thought. Obviously, privacy is not going to stop governments and corporations from trying to manipulate public opinion, but by giving them less data we can make it harder for them to do so. After all, the more they know about us, the easier it is for them to influence our opinions to be more in line with their interests.
