Salespeople as primary disseminators of information
Sales increasingly tends to focus on presenting a solution rather than promoting a product or service.

Why the change? Shoppers prefer to do their own research before speaking to someone when they are interested in a brand or product. As a result, sellers are meeting increasingly informed buyers.

Instead of being the primary disseminators of information, sales reps become luxembourg number screening consultants who build relationships and propose solutions. They will have personalized conversations about a prospect’s specific needs and explain why their product or service is the best solution.

LinkedIn has been dethroned as the most effective platform for prospecting. Now, Facebook is identified by marketers as the most effective channel for finding information about prospects and/or their companies.

Each platform has its advantages. When making a decision, consider your goals, your audience's needs, and where they are most likely to find them.

Virtual Sales Priority
The pandemic has pushed virtual selling to unprecedented levels, and new sales tools have emerged to simplify selling in this “new normal.”

However, in 2024, I don’t think companies will prioritize virtual sales strategies as much as they did before as restrictions have been lifted. A consultative approach is based on trust and rapport with prospects, and there’s no better way to develop that rapport than meeting in person.
