Differences between iPad Pro 2021 and iPad Pro 2020

White Magic Keyboard
All the iPad Pro models mentioned support the second-generation Apple Pencil stylus. Contrary to the expectations of Apple fans, we did not see a new version of the smart pencil this spring. But we were shown a new Magic Keyboard, which has not changed technically in any way, but only got a new color: white.

It looks magical, although, logically, it should get dirty quickly. But we will find out only in the process of using it. The new color did not affect the price of the keyboard in any way.

As for the changes between the iPad Pro 12.9″ 2021 and similar tablets from 2020 and 2018, they are the same in width and height, as in the case of the iPad Pro 11″. But unlike its smaller brother, the older 2021 model is 0.51 mm thicker than similar iPad Pro 2020 and 2018. And the new product will be heavier in weight: 682/685 g in the “Wi-Fi only” and cellular versions, versus 641/643 g in previous years’ models. For this reason, the Magic Keyboard, including the new white color, is not compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9″ 2021. Alas.
