People who sell IT products and services are generally much more comfortable with the language and thought processes of the technical world. Buyers rarely have your level of expertise or knowledge of backend jargon and functionality. Don't make your user interface too technical.
Make everything simple and clear so that even the most experienced user can navigate and use the product.
