How do you turn on push notifications?
Would you like to receive push notifications? This works slightly differently on a desktop than on a smartphone. On a desktop, you have to accept the request from the relevant party in the browser to be allowed to send you push notifications. Such a request can look different on different websites, but basically it is a small popup with 'yes' or 'no' (see the screenshot of De Telegraaf below as an example).
Have you enabled push notifications, but are you not receiving them? Then this is due to the settings of your computer. In the basic settings of your computer, you also have to give permission to receive push notifications. This looks like this on a Mac (similar to Windows):
On your smartphone, you will get this question when you first open an app. Did you click away the notification or click 'no' and still want to receive push notifications? Then you can indicate this in hong kong telegram data the settings of the app in question.
Do you feel 'tricked'?
You probably don't want to receive push notifications from all the apps and websites you visit. Some platforms are quite sneaky in asking for permission to send notifications. Sometimes the 'agree' button is on the left, other times on the right. Or the pop-up is sent at exactly the moment you want to click it away as quickly as possible. Think of a game, just before the finish. This is actually quite striking. It seems to me that as a brand you don't want the customer to see you as 'an annoying platform'.
