Yandex.Wordstat operators

Post by rakibhasan02 »

To make working with Yandex.Wordstat more efficient, you can use special symbols that help to refine queries and statistics on them. Operators are placed before a word or their combination and ensure that a certain condition is met. List:

+ – this symbol warns the service that all words must be taken into account when searching (by default, some conjunctions and prepositions are ignored – in particular: in, on, from, for, how, from, and).
! – this operator is necessary so that the search takes into account only those keywords that have a set form: number, gender, case, etc. This symbol is suitable for trading companies with a large sales volume (wholesalers) – it allows you to correctly take into account requests for the purchase of a wide range of goods.
"" - this operator displays statistic shop for the selected word or phrase in a separate window. This allows you to estimate the frequency of queries without embedded keys. For example, quotation marks allow you to see only the query "buy an electric guitar", and not "buy an IBANEZ electric guitar" and other options that are selected in the left column of Yandex.Wordstat.
[] – this operator fixes the required word order in the query. This symbol is often used by tour operators and airlines – it allows them to recommend tickets to clients in similar (and not similar) directions.
( | ) – there may be two or more similar queries in brackets. For example, if a trading company operates simultaneously in two countries, this symbol helps to see statistics for both categories of requirements at once.
It is customary to single out the operator "-", which removes unnecessary words from the query. Since unnecessary words that affect the result are removed from the key phrase, it becomes possible to more adequately assess the prospects of a particular niche.

For example, for the query "programming courses" you need to find potential clients (only adults, training is not suitable for children and schoolchildren). The "-" operator allows you to select suitable queries from the target audience.

Usually, more specific queries are given priority, not just high-frequency ones. Accordingly, before starting the search, it is necessary to make a list of keys in the required form, removing all unnecessary words from them, in order to obtain relevant data.
