We recently started a survey about Tutanota, what you expect from Tutanota, why you have switched to our service, what features you would like to see next, as well as the insurance email list potential future additions and updates to our secure email and calendar service. From the beginning, the community has driven our development decisions. As an independent company that puts privacy first, we don't have to bow to the wishes of investors or advertisers. The only ones we are beholden to are our users.

Most used clients
Tutanota is a fully encrypted email and calendar service offered as a web client, apps for Android and iOS, as well as desktop clients for Linux, Windows and macOS, all released as open source .
Since there is no tracking at Tutanota, we are interested in knowing which clients are used and to what extent. It turns out that the majority of users - over 75% - check their emails on their phones on a daily or weekly basis.
Our desktop clients for Windows, macOS and Linux are used by more than half of our users at least weekly. The web client is not used as much. However, occasionally almost everyone uses the web client to log in to their Tutanota mailbox.
