What do the variations in MAU mean?

Post by sakib60 »

MAU figures will vary depending on the new user acquisition rate, existing user retention rates, and the reactivation of inactive users.

Increase in MAU
This usually occurs when the number of new users and reactivations is greater chinese overseas canada database than the number of existing users who have been exhausted. (New users + Reactivations of expired users) > Churn of existing users

Sudden increases in MAU can be due to:

New users. A new advertising campaign, positive press, or the introduction of an app in an app store often generates an increase in downloads and, consequently, new customers who join the monthly active users.
Reactivations. With email campaigns or automatic notifications, it's possible to reactivate users who have stopped using the product or service.
Churn. This occurs when issues that have discouraged users are addressed. For example, by releasing a new version or adding improved features, churn rates among existing users can be reduced. This will help increase MAU.
