Working Principle: InstantSend is powered by special nodes called “Masternodes”. When a transaction is sent with InstantSend, these masternodes immediately lock the transaction and make it irreversible. This way, the receiving party does not have to wait for the transaction and it is considered to have happened instantly.
Advantages:
Transactions locked by masternodes cannot be reversed.
It does not require any extra steps for users.
PrivateSend:
PrivateSend is a feature that increases phone number library transaction privacy for Dash users. While transactions in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are recorded on a public ledger (blockchain), PrivateSend obscures the sender and recipient information by mixing transactions.
Working Principle: PrivateSend uses a method called “CoinJoin”. Transactions from multiple users are combined and mixed. This makes it impossible to track which money goes to which address.
