What Does CC Mean In Email?
The CC field in an email stands for Carbon Copy. It means that anyone who appears after CC: header will receive a copy of the sent message.

The CC header will also be visible in the header of the received message.

In simple terms, CC sends a copy to a person and lets everyone, including that person, know that they were included.

What is the difference between CC and BCC?
The key difference lies in visibility.

CC vs BCC:

Recipients listed in the CC field will see all other email addresses in the To and CC fields. This is typically used to keep people informed about an email conversation.

However, recipients listed in the BCC field will not see the email addresses of other recipients (including To and CC). Their email address is hidden from everyone else on the email thread.
